I want this bag!
“With a collection that goes from strong, deep and mysterious to light, fragile, and ethereal, I think we’ve created a truly versatile collection that hopefully you’ll be inspired by and want to wear.” Gareth Pugh said in a release. And based on the individual pieces and the beauty look, I definitely want to wear it.
It’s a pretty full collection, and includes cream shadows, LipGlass, lipsticks, powder, liners, fake lashes, and even a makeup bag. The designer was inspired by everything from a hematite rock to butterfly wings. And those angular lashes are the result of him snipping away at a bunch of fake lashes that MAC sent him with the goal of making them non-lash-shaped. And while all of the packaging still has the signature MAC black sheen, it’s done in a much heavier material with a geometric “X” in the center.
If you’re in North America, you can get the collection starting November 23, and internationally in December. Prices range from $15 for mascara to $75 for the makeup bag (which i really really like!)
Unfortunately I have to wait.
Mary Katrantzou Tweeted a sneek peek from her new collaboration with Topshop and i can say that i'm going craaaazy about the fact that the design of this dress is the same as those from the runway.
I'm definetely going to lay my hands on that!!!
The campaign was shot by Mert & Marcus and styled by Joe McKenna. All the Versace blonds are featured: Sasha Pivovarova, Lindsey Wixson, Daphne Groeneveld and Abbey Lee Kershaw.
It will hit stores on November 17. The price range for the dresses is from 149$ to 249$, except for the Anna Dello Russo leather studded dresses, 299$.
I'm gonna go for the pillow and some jewelry...! (i know the dresse i want, are definetly not in the 149$ group!)
TOTALLY wearable shoes from Jeremy Scott (again) and the most adorable shoes for the dog (!) complete with a leopards head and everything. I don't thing those will be available though, i'm completely against clothes on animals but i would like to see them for real!
I have a thought... maybe they are for kids... does anyone know if that's possible?
You have probably heard about MAC's collaboration with Daphne Guinness which is set to launch December 26 ( i'm probably gonna buy everything - big fan of MAC and Daphne Guinness), but what about Miss Piggy?
Miss Piggy is the new face of MAC cosmetics for November. Who knew Muppets could wear makeup?! It would include a 15$ eyeshadow called Miss Piggy Mid-Tone Pink, a 17$ liner in Rapidblack Black, and a 15$ lash called Lash Full Lash. I guess i expected the full lashes, cause what would Miss Piggy be without those thick eyelashes?!
